Warm Greeting

Hello there, I’m the owner of Villa Penyu, located on Gili Trawangan Island in Bali (Turtle Point, newly built in August 2023). The name “Penyu” translates to turtle in the local language Lombok. I decided to purchase the land from Gili Yoon’s Kitchen filming site and build a brand new restaurant along with 11 Villas. The reason? Well, Gili Yoon’s Kitchen TV show is incredibly famous in Korea, and I wanted the shooting location to be a memorable resort that captures the spirit of the show. My wish is for everyone who comes here to let go of any challengers they’ve faced, immerse themselves in the senses – from the stunning sea view and the gentle, warm breeze to the beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish right in front of us. Enjoy delicious Korean and Western cuisine, coffee, wine, and cocktails surrounded by tropical flowers and carefully landscaped greenery. From a spacious and clean swimming pool to high-quality architectures using premium materials, not to mention the JBL speakers playing a mix of classic and the latest pop songs – we’ve put a lot of heart into creating an atmosphere that engages all your senses. Peaceful Beach

Looking straight on to Java Sea, Villa Penyu is a tropical beach resort and features breathtaking sea views with sunrise all the year and sunset on from May to September. A peaceful beach is always accompanied by an ocean breeze.

SNORKELING PARADISE

The front sea is the best snorkeling spot in Gili Trawangan, where you can witness a diverse array of vibrant coral reefs, turtle and tropical fish right under the front sea .

SWIMMING POOL

The swimming pool that has 25M length is with 100% fresh water, free from any mixture with groundwater or seawater and surrounded by blooming and carefully landscaped greenery.

VILLAS

We’ve reinforced the villa roof with fire-resistant asphalt shingles from Owens Corning , a trusted American company. And for the villa frame, we’ve opted for Bengkirai wood, known for earthquake-resistant properties, for both the main frame and roofing structure.



One Room Luxury Villa

A luxurious bedroom featuring premium Merbau hardware flooring, a terrace adorned with Bengkirai decking and Teak sofa, Teak furniture such as bed, desk and minibar table. Bathroom with 3M by 4M size is spacious and has TOTO brand one piece toilet, TOTO brand washbowl , Germany Brilliant brand shower and Teak washbowl desk. Serves Netflix

Restaurant

Our restaurant buildings on Gili Trawangan are truly unique . We’ve chosen high-grade synthetic Viro Thatch Fire Retardant by PT. Polimindo Permata for the roofing, ensuring safety and durability. The main frame and roofing structure are constructed using I-beam & Bengkirai wood, renowned for their earthquake-resistant properties. For the interior, you’ll find elegant marble floors, and the bar & kitchen walls by Mandalika stone and Bobos stone. With no front and back walls, a refreshing breeze from the front beach flows seamlessly though restaurant, swimming pool and garden.
